I hadn't planned to return to the subject of Ireland's referendum. There seemed nothing more to say. I'm sticking to my prediction that there won't be a second referendum on the European Constitution Lisbon Treaty (though there may be a vote on some bits of it, once the bulk has been rammed through the Oireachtas). Nothing else has altered. The "rough rug-headed kerns" are no less opposed to the treaty than they were. The Eurocrats are no less determined to force it through.
