It's given that the global Islamic population in 2007 was 1.84 billion (28% total) (World Mission Report). But 80% of US Muslims say suicide bombings of civilians to defend Islam cannot be justified, and 13% say they can be. That 13% is the wedge between traditional Islam and radical Islam. Actually, 13% x 1,840,000,000 = 239,000,000 should give the number of potential radical Muslims that exist.
